Jo Wolfe of Lake Stevens, Washington, has been confirmed by the Board of Women Ministries as the chair of the Triennial XIII Planning Committee.

Jo served on the Triennial XI Planning Committee in 2004 and volunteered extensively for Triennial XII in 2007. She has served in Women Ministries at various levels for a number of years and is particularly drawn to the retreat and conference ministries. She is passionate about creating an inviting environment in which women can encounter the living God.

The Planning Committee is nearly complete and will be announced soon.
Their first planning meeting is scheduled for May 30-June 1 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington DC, site of the 2010 conference.

Plan now to attend this inspiring conference hosted by Women Ministries of the Evangelical Covenant Church!

The TWO BIG questions are:

1. Where will it be?

Quoting Ruth Hill's comment at the close of Triennial XII, "It will be East of the Mississippi River, South of the Canadian border, West of the Atlantic Ocean, and North of Cuba."

The riddle regarding the location of the 2010 conference now has an answer:

WASHINGTON DC!

The OMNI SHOREHAM HOTEL will be the home of the event. The historic hotel is located just three miles from the White House and nestled in Embassy Row. The hotel is situated on eleven acres of beautifully landscaped grounds adjacent to a park. Its large spacious rooms, over 300 with two queen beds, will comfortably accommodate parties of four. More than a dozen restaurants are literally two blocks away for an enjoyable break.
