TXII Comments / QuotesTHE BEST THING ABOUT TRIENNIAL WAS…The moving of the Holy Spirit....speaking to me through the speakers and many other ways. Also some of the practical ways of putting it into practice. The baptism was AWESOME. The worship team was EXCELLENT. The worship services were WONDERFUL! The fellowship with sisters was ESSENTIAL. (from Japanese guest) Your hospitality for international people is wonderful. I could understand English a little and I like to dance and music we can share together. I could know Christ more! Thank you for praying for Japan. United fellowship across age, worship style, race, & abilities. I was amazed at the way the event was organized! I felt we were so welcomed, all the meals promptly served; speakers and worship was great. I was so blessed! Thank you (This was my 1st Triennial but NOT my last!) The prayer room with all the multi-sensory stations. It was an amazing experience! The concert was great as well! The whole weekend was wonderful! Renewing old friendships; relaxing schedule; great marketplace; wonderful spiritual challenges. I met my sisters here from California, Wyoming, and Iowa! Being with friends, time out of ordinary life, inspirational messages. God spoke to me about certain issues in my life. I felt encouraged to answer the call of the Lord. The breaks in between the seminars and worship sessions gave us time to digest what happened and download with others without feeling rushed. Meals: bountiful, beautiful, & delicious! Being with sisters and sharing this event. I liked the upbeat music and concerts. I will definitely come back. I was met by the Holy Spirit! How wonderful it is to be a part of Women Ministries of the Covenant! God in his creativity met each of us right where we were and ministered in powerful ways. Worship was beautiful and Spirit led. Thank you, Adrienne, for always pointing us to God for all PRAISE! We plan on seeing you in 3 years at the next one! The music style was beautifully blended! The marketplace was wonderful! Please bring back all those vendors! Being in Chicago was why I chose to come, but now I want to keep coming! Prayer room was great---do similar again. TXII was top notch; excellence in all areas of programming. Seeing the direction and vision of WM of the ECC so beautifully communicated and unfolding. Triennial just gets better and better!! The best thing was being refreshed and inspired through the gifted speakers and connecting with old friends and new. Well planned in every way! The best thing about TXII was being with my mom and my daughter; sensing the joy of God in the women around me; reconnecting with my Covenant roots and the evangelical influences of my childhood. Keep up the good work…it was great! GREAT! The focus on compassion, mercy & justice—the offering of letters for Darfur, excellent workshop on AIDS. The best thing about TXII was the friendly, loving women. I liked absolutely every thing. This was my first triennial! Organization and planning was great! The multi-sensory 24/7 prayer room was a wonderful spiritual experience. Ruth’s enthusiasm is contagious. Best thing? You’ve got to be kidding! It was all great! Being close to God and sharing the experience with my sisters in Christ from around the world was awesome! I am in total AWE of mow much attention was paid to every detail. Thank you SO MUCH! The best thing about TXII was the way(s) that WM have truly diversified and incorporated so much of the varying cultures in worship. The rest of the Covenant can learn a great deal from WM! ..the sense of intimacy with 1100+ women. –indwelling of sense of purpose and closeness with God. Tears of the Holy Spirit…everything was so well planned to appeal to many of our senses, it just created a space for God to move! Ok….let’s be honest…that chocolate cake! The best thing about TXII was the jump start for my life. As this was no doubt my last Triennial (I’m in my 80s) I want to be sure to thank the planning team and acknowledge all your hard work and creativity. I attended the very first Triennial and many since. It certainly is worth continuing—hurray for the diversity! God is good! The best thing about TXII was the coming together of all the women from the different states and nations. My first time here…I’m so sorry I’ve missed prior Triennials. The best thing about TXII was EVERYTHING! I’ve been to 9 and this is one of the best! Thank you for helping me grow in Christ! The best thing about TXII was the universal scope of the church – the vision beyond the local church. Everything was top of the line. It was my first Triennial…I plan to attend them all for the rest of my life! I was utterly enthralled with every moment. I was here representing Presbyterian Women of PCUSA and I came away with a heart full of renewed joy, new friends, and a full blast of the Holy Spirit. |
