What is the purpose of Triennial?
Triennial is the gathering of women of the Evangelical Covenant Church that takes place once every three years. It is an eventful experience in the lives of those who come. It is a place to enjoy fellowship of the richest kind with women from all over the country and world. It is a time to worship God with fullness and joy. It is an opportunity to learn and grow and develop skills to strengthen your spiritual life, or to begin new life with Jesus Christ! It is a moment to relax, unwind, and to find joy and energy and peace in all of it.

How old do you have to be to attend Triennial?
Triennial is a multi-generational event where there is something for everyone. Women of all ages from high school age and older are welcome and encouraged to come.

How do I get to Triennial?
There are many ways to get to Washington, DC. Whether you are driving, flying, or taking the train, more information on traveling to Triennial XIII is at our Travel Info page.
On June 1, 2009, individuals who are confident they want to attend Triennial XIII can lock in the lowest possible rate of $260. This special rate is available for only two months!
Full registration for seminars, tours, etc. begins August 1, 2009, at our Early Registration rate. See the Registration page for more information.

When do I need to register by?
Registration will stay open until the week before Triennial XIII begins, but the earlier you register, the more you save, and the better chances you'll have of getting into your top-choice seminars. See our Registration page for more information.

Beginning June 1, 2009, limited special registration is available for locking in the lowest possible rate of $260. This special rate is non-refundable and non-transferable. Registrants choosing this option will select seminars and tours after August 1, 2009.
A full schedule for registration rates and options is available at our Registration page.
For those who prefer to register by mail, registration brochures will be sent out to churches and will include a paper registration form.

How do I pay for registration?
If you are registering online, you may pay with an ECheck or by credit card.
To pay by ECheck, copy the routing number, account number, and your name as it is listed on one of your checks. The amount will be debited from your checking account.
Visa, Mastercard, and Discover are accepted credit cards. American Express is not accepted.

When I tried to set up a new account online, it said an account with my email address as the username was already in use. What's up with that?
If you have registered online for the Annual Meeting using your email address, then you already have an account set up. Use that login information to register for Triennial XIII as well.
If you have been receiving email updates about Triennial XIII, an account has automatically been created for you with the email address at which you have been receiving Triennial XIII news emails. To register for Triennial XIII, you will need to reset your password. There is a link to reset your password on the first page of the registration portal. When you click this link, a separate window will pop up with instructions. You will need to enter your email address; you will immediately receive an email with a link to create a new password. You may then log in on the first page of the registration portal as a returning user using the new password you created.

I registered for the Covenant Annual Meeting. Does this affect how I register for Triennial XIII?
The registration for both the Covenant Annual Meeting and Triennial XIII go through the same secure server which saves your login and password information. If you registered online for the Covenant Annual Meeting, please use the login information you had then for registering for Triennial now.
You also must use the same name you registered with originally. For example, if you registered for the Annual Meeting as "Jill" with your email address, and then tried to register for Triennial with the same email address but used the name "Jillian," the system would not accept your login until you use the information already associated with your account.

Is group registration available?
Yes, for groups of 10 or more from the same church. Details are on the Registration page.

Can I bring someone who doesn't go to my church or isn't a Christian?
Absolutely! Triennial is a place for those who have spent their whole lives in the church as well as those who may be young in their faith or even a stranger to Christianity. We provide opportunities for every woman at Triennial to meet God in a new and transformational way.

Can I come to Triennial if I don't go to a Covenant church?

A limited amount of scholarships will be available. Contact us for more information.

Will I have to walk a lot at Triennial?
All events at Triennial XIII will be held in one building with handicap accessibility. The tours offered have a variety of walking involved - some involve very little walking while others require a lot of walking. If you desire to visit a restaurant, there are options within the hotel and directly across the street from the hotel.

Why should I go to Triennial?
Triennial is a unique event where women from all over the country and the world come together and worship, learn, connect, and have fun. It is an opportunity to strengthen relationships and make new ones. It is a place to be free to connect with other women and feel the power of the Holy Spirit moving through each one. It is a time to see a new place – come early and explore by attending a tour, or stay a few days after Triennial and check out the city.

When can I book my hotel room at the Omni Shoreham Hotel?
You can book your hotel room at the special conference rate at any time by calling Omni reservations and telling them you are with "Triennial". Online booking, however, will be available one year in advance (up until the event). Details are at the Travel Info page.

Can my friends and family members who aren't attending the Triennial conference go on tours with me?
No. Triennial events are open to all who are registered for the conference.
